Started in 2015 by local residents Edward and Melissa Arens, E&M Outdoor Services has evolved into one of the fastest growing lawn care providers in the Wright County area. Built on communication and customer service, this is "Where Lawn Care Meets Excellence."

Edward Arens
Owner
As Owner and Managing Partner of E&M Outdoor Services, Edward is always engrossed in every aspect of the business. With his extensive knowledge in landscape management & design, as well as a true love for the outdoors, he enjoys working with clients and developing partnerships with many other business owners in the green industry. You can always find Ed enjoying golf, fishing and spending time with his family.

Melissa Arens
Co-Owner/Accounting
Born and raised in Buffalo, MN; Melissa received her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Christopher Newport University in Virginia. After graduation, Melissa returned home to Minnesota where she earned her Master's in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas. Having had an illustrious career with such large corporations as Target and Cargill, she wears many hats at E&M from accounting and payroll, to office management. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys cooking and being a mother to their four wonderful children.
Meet The Team
Mitch Hanson
Lawn Care Division Manager
Mitch started at E&M in April of 2021 and comes with an extensive background in turf maintenance. In 2022, Mitch became our Lawn Care Division Manager and he leads the team members in their daily duties. As a graduate of Buffalo High School as well as earning his degree from Rasmussen College, Mitch has dedicated many years of service to the Wright County area. He is married and has two lovely children. When Mitch is not working hard for our customers, he enjoys golf and spending time with his family. If you see Mitch on your property in the near future, be sure to say "Hello!"
Ezra Emons
Lawn Care Professional
Ezra is a graduate of Buffalo High School. He is currently attending St. Cloud State University to acquire his degree in business management. Ezra helps out during the summer months and enjoys working outside. In his free time, Ezra enjoys hanging out with his friends, updating on his car and working out.
Steve Carlson
Lawn Care Professional
Steve joined the E&M team in April 2023. After an illustrious career in the insurance industry, Steve wanted to do more with his time and since he previously owned & operated his own lawn care service, he brings 25 years of knowledge and expertise to our company. In his free time, Steve loves to spend as much time as he can with his grandchildren and attend as many of their events & activities as possible. He looks forward to fishing and many outdoor activities with family. Be sure to welcome Steve to the E&M team!
Eddie Nelson
Lawn Care Technician
Eddie joined the E&M team in June 2023. An energetic young man, at 14 years old, Eddie is working during the summer months at E&M. When Eddie is not working hard for our company, he enjoys fishing, hunting and playing hockey. We are pleased to have such a hard-working young man join the team. If you see Eddie on your property this season, be sure to welcome him to the E&M team.
